Evenfall 2023 Pinot Noir
Winery : Evenfall
Evenfall is situated on one of the oldest vineyard sites in the Tamar Valley, planted at Legana by Richard Power in the 1972. It was first known as Powercourt Vineyard, later Elmslie, and now Evenfall. This vintage, the first release under the Evenfall label, is a blend of Tamar and Derwent Valley fruit. The winemaker is Tas Vintners Liam McElhinney, winemaker for the outstanding Lowestoft range.
Michele's notes: Lovely clarity and brilliance of colour. Alluring aromas of warm raspberry/almond brioche with vibrant red fruits - cranberry, red currant - and cola nut. Sleek and juicy in the mouth with toasty tannins from well-handled oak. Lingering.
