Six Friends 2018 Pinot Noir

 Six Friends is a tiny vineyard established in 2004 by a group of friends at Orielton (between Richmond and Sorell) in Tasmania's south east. The first vintage was in 2007, Alain Rousseau makes the wine.

Michele's notes: Deep ruby in colour, translucent. Lose yourself in the complex and inviting aromas - a meld of dark cherry, satsuma plum and chocolate.

Rich but sleek in the mouth, with dark ripe fruits, a little char and vanilla from the oak, and perfectly pitched acidity. All is in place, a completely harmonious wine.

Another outstanding release from this micro Tasmanian producer. Cellaring up to eight years.
