Ca' del Bosco Cuvee Prestige Franciacorta

Ca’ del Bosco was established in 1964 by Annamaria Clementi Zanella when she purchased a property at Erbusco in the province of Brescia (Lombardy) in 1964. Her son Maurizio is the current owner. This is the territory of Franciacorta, which was awarded DOCG status in 1995 for its exquisite sparkling wines.

Cuvée Prestige is the hallmark of the Ca’ del Bosco style – the fruit is sourced from 134 vineyard plots in a blend of 75% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Bianco and 15% Pinot Nero. The grapes are vinified separately and then blended with 20% reserve wines to give the wine its unique character. It is delicately perfumed with white flowers, peach and pear notes. While the palate is crisp and refreshing there are softer notes of honey and nougat.
