Drew 2023 Pinot Noir

Established in 1992, Drew is one of the oldest vineyards at Tea Tree in the Coal River Valley. This sub-sub region is located between Pontville (to the west) and Campania and Richmond (to the east). Robbie Drew has consulted to many vineyards in the area.

Michele's notes: Deep ruby/crimson. Dark cherry and brambleberry fruit with floral elements, sweet liquorice strap, black olive tapenade and a touch of cardamom spice and fresh herbs. It is immediately mouth-watering.

Juicy and vibrant in the mouth. Plenty of rich fruit, a suggestion of roasted beets and cured bresaola, with a complementary line of acid bestowing food-friendly freshness. Touches of char, spice and chalky tannins add savouriness to the finish. A splendid follow on to the 2022.
