Mixed SIX contains 5 x Sailor Seeks Horse Pinot Noir, 1 x Sailor Seeks Horse Huldufolk Pinot Noir

Sailor Seeks Horse is the creation of winemakers Paul and Gilli Lipscombe. After studying winemaking/viticulture in Margaret River and doing vintages in Oregon and New Zealand, they settled in the Huon and set about reviving a derelict vineyard at Cradoc, which had been planted in 2005 and subsequently abandoned.

2023 Sailor Seeks Horse Pinot Noir: Michele's notes: Beautifully aromatic - cranberry and blueberry as well as briar fruits. Hints of fresh thyme, pepper berry and smoky bacon lardons add savoury elements. In the mouth, the fruit has delicacy and sweetness, yet a fine, structural presence. Builds in complexity with each sip. 13%

2023 Huldufolk Pinot Noir: Made entirely of Dijon clone 115. Only 800 bottles made. ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE MIXED PACK Michele's notes: Bright ruby garnet. Pomegranate, fresh herbs, black tea with a intriguing overlay of soy (umami) and petrichor. Serene and weightless in the mouth with a lovely glycerol flow. Precision with understated power.
