Kelvedon Estate 2023 Pinot Noir

Kelvedon Estate, like many wine producers on Tasmania's East Coast, diversified from fine merino sheep farming to wine production with the planting of vines in 1998. The first vintage was in 2002, with the focus predominantly on pinot noir.

Michele's notes: Deep ruby and magenta hues - quite bold for a Kelvedon Pinot. Raspberry  and Kentish cherry on the nose with Szechuan pepper, bresaola, petrichor and thyme. The perfume opens with breathing and notes of chocolate/coffee come through. Very juicy in the mouth. The texture is open, gentle and layered - each layer building flavour in a subtle yet complex way.

An excellent cellar proposition.
