Lowestoft Pinot Noirs

MIXED SIX contains 2 each La Maison, Jacoben SV and Estate Pinots.

The original Lowestoft vineyard in the Lower Derwent Valley was planted in 1986 from Moorilla Estate cuttings by then owner Bernard McKay. It was basically the front garden of the 1820s Lowestoft colonial mansion. Fogarty Family Wines are the current owners and have partnered with winemaker Liam McElhinney to produce these highly acclaimed wines.

La Maison 2022 Pinot Noir won the JIMMY WATSON TROPHY & JAMES HALLIDAY TROPHY for Best Pinot Noir at the 2023 Melbourne Royal Wine Awards. 

Jacoben Single Vineyard 2022 Pinot Noir was awarded DECANTER BEST IN SHOW 97 points at the 2024 Decanter international wine awards.

Estate 2021 Pinot Noir is made from small parcels of fruit from lower Derwent Valley vineyards. A finely honed Pinot of great subtlety and charm.
