Brinktop & Clarence House 2023 Pinots
Winery : Various
Vintage 2023 Pinots are looking great! Two new Pinots from top producers Brinktop and Clarence House have impressed us this week, giving further evidence that Vintage 2023 is a good'un not only for Tassie whites, but Pinot Noir as well.
2023 Brinktop Pinot Noir: Brinktop was established in 2017 by experienced vignerons Gill Christian and Todd Goebel at Penna (between Richmond and Sorell) at the southern limit of the Coal River Valley in Tasmania. This is proving to be one of the best sites in the state.
2023 Clarence House Estate Pinot Noir: This is an historic property at Rokeby on Hobart's eastern shore. David Kilpatrick planted the first vines here in 1998. Anna Pooley and Justin Bubb are the winemakers for a stunning range of wines including Block 1 and Reserve Pinots.
