Sinapius 2023 Close Planted Pinot Noir
Winery : Sinapius
Sinapius Vineyard was established in 2005 by Linda Morice and the late Vaughn Dell at Pipers River in Tasmania's north-east. Sinapius' close-planted (high density) blocks are planted on volcanic soils from 12 different clones of pinot noir.
Michele's notes: Ruby/garnet hues. Exuberant bouquet - red cherries leap from the glass, with hints of smoky Szechuan pepper, cardamom and beef tartare. Layers and layers of beautiful fruit, and fine chalky tannins build to create a sensation of lithe, mouth-filling flavour. Subtle savoury elements - earth and orange rind - come through at the end.
