Hughes & Hughes 2023 Riesling

The Hughes brothers, who are based in the D'Entrecasteaux Channel with the Mewstone vineyard, source the best fruit from growers all around the state for the Hughes & Hughes label. In this instance, the Riesling is made from North-West, Derwent and Coal River Valley fruit.

Michele's notes: Winemaker Jonny Hughes aims to build texture in his white wines and the lovely mouth-feel here serves to amplify the exquisite fruit. Notes of cumquat come through along with tropical fruits like guava and paw paw. The acid is fully integrated, making it a style to enjoy when young.
