Delamere 2023 Pinot Noir

Co-owners and winemakers Fran Austin (GT Wine Young Winemaker of the Year Vintage 2005) and Shane Holloway embarked on their Delamere Vineyard project in 2011, after purchasing it from Richie Richardson who had planted the first vines in 1982.

Michele's notes: Complex fruit and savoury aromas of plum, dark cherry, blackberry, wet earth, clove spice, beets and bresaola. Terrific mouthfeel, there's already plenty of velvet. Layers and layers of flavour but also weightless. This is, in part, the old vine effect. Essential fruit sweetness and acidity work together, complemented by subtle oak handling.
